I’m having trouble registering or connecting to the live stream. Is there someone I can contact for help?

What's the best way to make sure I can hear the conference?

If you are watching with a group of people, we recommend you connect a computer to a projector and connect a set of external speakers.  Make sure the speakers will be loud enough to fill your room.

If you are watching the sessions on your own, grab a pair of your favorite headphones.  You might not need headphones if your laptop or desktop has speakers that are loud enough.

Is my Internet Connection Speed fast enough?

5-10mbps download speed is recommended. Check your connection at  www.speedtest.net.

Where is the chat? 

Once the session has started, chat will be available in the video player. Hover over the video player, and click the chat bubble icon at the top right to open. This is where you will interact with your fellow participants, and ask the session moderators questions.

If you are joining on a mobile device, enable desktop mode to participate in chat. Please enable the desktop version of the website in your browser settings.

I entered my question in the name field of the chat. How can I change it? 

If you refresh the browser page, you can enter your name and re-join the chat. 

What do I do if I cannot hear or see the video once the session has started? 

Try refreshing your browser window and restarting the video player. The player works like a DVR, so you can rewind and watch any content you have missed.

What can I do if my video keeps buffering? 

If your video buffers, or has trouble loading, you may need to lower the player resolution to allow for network bandwidth. To do this, hover over the video player, click the gear icon in the lower right, and select a lower resolution. 

What if I don't see the video player on the page at all? 

Contact your IT professional and let them know that traffic from livestream.com will need to be allowed through any web filters for you to view the videos. 

What internet browser do I need? 

Please ensure you have the following:

  • System Requirements: Windows 7 or higher, Mac OS X 10.6 or higher
  • Supported desktop browsers: Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, Safari 8 or higher, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 11
  • Supported mobile browsers: Chrome, Safari (iOS)
  • Adobe Flash Player: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ (Not required for Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)
  • Internet Connection: 5-10mbps download speed is recommended. Check your connection at www.speedtest.net.
